About me.
I'm a freelance coach and a British Horse Society Accredited Professional Coach
(BHS APC), holding a BSc in Equine Science and an Award in Education and Training (AET). I regularly contribute to the Horse and Rider magazine's "Ask the Expert" section and compete in British Dressage, showjumping and horse trials with my homebred horse.
With over forty years in the equestrian industry, I've worked across a wide variety of yards and roles - from running my own livery yard to grooming at three-day events, working in a veterinary surgery, and teaching at an equine college. These experiences have given me a deep and practical understanding of real-world horsemanship.
Through my coaching and mini eBooks, I'm delighted to share both the hard-won lessons and the solid, evidence-based knowledge I've gained from working alongside some of the finest horsemen and horsewomen in the field.
Most importantly, these books are written with gratitude and love for all the horses I've had the privilege and good fortune to care for over the years.
My hope is to help, support, and encourage anyone who wishes to deepen their understanding of horses and to keep learning with an open mind and kind heart.
